In this day and age, is it possible to be yourself without being interested in what’s going on in the world? Is it possible to live among people without being interested in the social changes that are occurring at an ever-increasing pace? Riverside says on its latest album that this is not possible. And he stresses that in order to survive these difficult times, we need self-awareness, empathy, community, and both the support of the other and a break from all those who inject venom into our lives, divide and antagonize us.
