“On his latest seventh album, titled “Through Shaded Woods,” Mariusz Duda expands his musical territories to include atmospheres associated with dark Scandinavian and Slavic folk, referencing bands such as Heilung and Warduna, but in his own distinctive “lunatic” style. After the rather heavily electronic “Fractured” and “Under The Fragmented Sky,” an album completely devoid of electronics is released, where the focus is primarily on “live instruments,” trance and dance.
